Hello from Spokane, WA

Hi Everyone,

After being a lurker for some time I figured it was time to sign up. I live in Spokane and have been in the NW my whole life. I was very much into cigars for 5-6 years and had built up a decent collection, when due to medical issues i wasn't able to smoke for the last year and a half. My fiancé was great enough to maintain my cigars the whole time, and the last couple of months i have been getting back into it more and more. For Xmas I opened up a wonderful wineador complete with some beautiful drawers (will post pics when able), so now its all about filling it with some great smokes! Hope everyone has a great new year!

Spokane's a great little city! I really like it. We usually go there once or twice a year to shop. Although I'm sure there must be at least one, I've never found a decent cigar shop there though. Can you tell me where one might be? I usually hit up the one on N. Division, but it's more of a head shop with a small humidor and a pretty sparse selection.

The one on N division used to be great but has gone EXTREMELY down hill. The owner used to be there everyday and I haven't seen him forever. The people working are....ya. I don't know how they got jobs. We do have a great hidden little gem though, it's inside the Flour Mill. By the Arena and in the same building as Clinkerdaggers (nice easy to find spokane landmark restaurant). If you go in talk to the guy working, they will always show you the limited releases and might just have something hidden.

LOL, yeah I wasn't going to mention the people working at that store....but seeing as you did :rolling: Funny thing is, the same fella's been there I think every time I've been there for a few years now. I guess he must be doing something right, but yeah, he wouldn't know a lonsdale if it poked him in the eye!

Now it's just mainly a headshop but with the legalization becoming what it is I get it. Where are you from? I make it out to legends of fire as well. The prices are a little steep but they always have opus. Nice place to smoke in the winter months.

I ask cuz most people from Canada try to get in some shopping there and I am there often for Sounders games. Love Rain City cigar! But ya I love to eat at Fatburger and then go into Legends of Fire and smoke an opus!

J&J's is cool. Worth the 5 min drive from rain city for a different selection. I believe the owner John has a good relationship with P Johnson as evidenced by the sodo special release-long since sold out.

I have nothing valuable to add to this thread other than being an Air Force brat I always moved around a lot. I was in Spokane from 78-82 and it was absolutely the best place I lived as a kid. I've been wanting to go back for years and just haven't had the chance.

She goes to Seattle once a year with her girlfriends and we've done it a couple times together, but Spokane's a much shorter drive for Calgarians. Plus I find Spokane's pretty much got all I need, at least shopping wise. Hell, I could burn a day in The General Store alone!
