I haven't tried a huge number of different cigars, but I find that I like the darker maduro wrapper. The one I've smoked the most of and like a lot it the Romeo y Julieta Reserve Maduro. I recently won a 5-pack of them, along with a 5-pack of Macanudo Maduro cigars from JR on their beat the dealer app and sure enough, I still really like those R&J's!! The last time I had them was when I bought a box from Costco 5 or more years ago.
I also recently tried a Liga Pravda No. 9 that I had mixed feelings about. The first inch or so seemed very light in flavor. It got better after that and it burned very cool all the way down to the nub. The flavor continued to get better as I smoked it down, but I'm not sure I liked having to smoke a third of the cigar before the flavor really developed nicely.
Anyway, looking forward to trying many many more!
