Hey everybody! Hailing from AZ, more specifically Phoenix west valley.
Been into cigars for about 2 years now. I blame the hobby on my neighbor and good friend who initiated my interest in it. Smoked my first with him after never in my life giving it a second thought and have been hooked since. My wife even partakes and we enjoy having a common hobby.
We're both members of the West Valley Cigar Group, not sure if anybody else here is as well. I used to be a member of another well known forum and after a year hiatus noticed none of the old timers were there anymore due to a mass exodus that took place. I decided to go elsewhere as well and came here!
I'm still learning what my favorites are. I know I'm not a fan of fatter ring gordos, I like to stay with a traditional churchill, lancero, pantela, etc.. Some of my current favs have been Gran Habano Corojo #5, DE Undercrown, Ashton VSG, Flor de las Antillies, Tat Miami. My wife is a big fan of DE flavored especially the blondie, Java Mint, and Copper Label.
To me theres nothing like laying in the pool with a 'gar and some whiskey.
