A little intro on me,
I always was sneaking cigars from around friends dads and grew up smoking cigars and playing poker with friends.
My first quality cigar from a cigar shop was in Minnetonka, MN (where I grew up) and was a Los Libertadores when I signed up for the Marine Corps in the mid-late '90's.
Spent 4-years in the Marines as a grunt smoking cigars as a leisure activity.
I got out after Kosovo and went back to school with a degree in biochemisty and since have got my masters in business and work in the civilian sector and have been enjoying cigars the whole ride. I spent 10 years enlisted (active and reserves) and the last 4+ as an officer in the reserves.
In my free time I spend the majority of my time performing underwater explorations with rebreathers, my other passion's are with watches (mostly rolex and panerai), single malt, and I have been attempting to brew my own beer lately.
I am in my mid 30's and have a wife an 10 month old son that is my pride and joy. I am here to contribute and like to give more than like to take, but I understand that there is a certain bravado with post count and senior members, so I will try to tread lightly (as with most forums).
With cigars currently, I enjoy more Med-Full bodied smokes and at least a robusto size. My favorite brands right now are LFD, Comacho, Tatuaje, CAO, and Ashton VSG's for NC's. As for CC's my favorite smoke right now is the Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios (despite the reviews), I also love the partagas brand with their spice and the Quai d'orsey is underrated but one of my fav's. Trinidad is also up their on my top list.
