Just wanted to say hi to everyone on this great forum and tell you a little about myself. I am currently serving in Iraq and hope to be home in April. When I first arrived in Iraq some of the local shops were selling Romeo Y Julieta Cuban cigars. Having never smoked before I was very hesitant to try one, but the illegal/mysterious cuban cigars everyone talked about made me buy it. That night I bit the end off, lit it with a zippo and, watched it split all the way down the middle. I now know that it was a counterfeit cuban and probably had sawdust in it. lol.

Before anyone kills me I want to say that I have taken the time to educate myself and continue to learn as much as I can. I now own two 50ct humidors that I constantly fight with to keep the RH up in. I am also building up a nice little collection. Some of my favorites that I have sampled so far are:

Acid Kuba Kuba
Drew Estate Java
Nub Cameroon and Maduro
Cain
CAO MX2
Rocky Patel Vintage 1992, Sun Grown, Vintage 1990
Artuo Fuente Short Story
Cohiba Esplendidos Cuban
Cohiba Robusto Cuban
Romeo Y Julieta Prince of Wales Cuban
Monte Cristo Edmundo Cuban

Knowing what I know now, I feel blessed that I was able to sample some of the cuban cigars that I have tried. The ones I named I find very enjoyable and would love to have some suggestions too.

I have a nice guillotine cutter now and prefer matches for my sticks atm. I have read a bit about tats and I am anxious to try one. Less then a day and you guys have already talked me into it.

Thanks for the warm welcome,

Welcome Tom, thanks to you and to all of your brothers and sisters for their service. Look upwards on a clear, dark night and just know that each one of those little lights in the sky is one of us sparking up a smoke in their honor.
