Greetings all.
I come to you after hearing tell of this forum. I have been an active member on a UK based forum for some time. I have always smoked Cuban cigars but since I have been out of work for some time now I have had to search for "cheaper" options.
A few friends in the US and UK passed me a wide range of NC smokes to try. Of all the brands I tried the one that REALLY got my juices flowing was Rocky Patel. The 90 vintage, 92 vintage, sungrown, decade, old world reserve are the ones that stand out in my mind at the moment but I have also enjoyed the edge, double maduro, etc. and want to try the entire range. I now learn that there are "seconds" available from Rocky Patel. I found my way to this forum in search of Rocky Patel and RP seconds.
I shall post a few pictures of my past cigar collection but sadly it is mostly a distant memory, LOL.
I am the son of an US Navy man from Chicago who was stationed in the UK and met my mother in London, he is still here LOL. I am dual national and used to spend a good amount of time in the US, but not so much recently.
I have MANY hobbies. Military history, especially of naval warfare post 1905 (after the launch of HMS Dreadnought). Motorsport. Politics. I do a lot of shooting. I clay shoot most weeks. I used to shoot pistols until it was banned here (I miss my M1911A1, they can keep the others LOL). I shoot a wide range of ex-service rifles and larger calibre lever action rifles. A little black powder shooting thrown in for good measure. I am a massive geek with a bad passion for gadgets, to the extent of having a shocking collection of old mobiles, I know, I need help!
I am a complete coffee Nazi since falling for the dark devil and could bore for Britain on good Vodka, Gin, Whiskey, Port, Champagne, etc.
What a terrible ramble I have just had, I will stop myself....
