Well, dont know what is going on, but seems to be some sort of virus, and it affects my search results, and sends me to junk sites...
My mac has never given me a single problem (2007 till now) and then this happens...
I do not know what to do! Help me tech gurus!!

Thanks.

If you are on a mac, it isn't a virus...you probably clicked on something to set your search to something undesirable. Let me do a search real quick and Ill see if I can help.

Nope, us mac boys dont like to admit something that isn't true. We do NOT get viruses, malware, spyware or any of the other crap you PC fanboys get...so while you are busy cleaning your registry and reformatting your hard drives, we are busy doing cool shit. LOL.

**please dont take my post wrong, it was made in jest...truth, but jest.**

I think there are like 3 known viruses for the mac...BUT, as the platform gets more popular, Im sure there will be some coming. The hard thing for virus writers to do is write viruses for UNIX, which is what the mac runs off of.

That's actually not true. Mac's are atm actually the easiest platform to hack. (they lost the hackers challenge 2 times in a row the last 2 years by getting hacked both times in less than 10 minutes) Apple doesn't take security as serious as they should. Most UNIX or UNIX based systems have a great record not only because they have a good base, but also cause their devs take security very very seriously.

I have been through quite a few viruses, malware, et all on my PC

I SWEAR by Malwarebytes as a tool to remove and constantly protect your PC.

Their customer service/tech support is bar none...They will walk you through a step by step solve if their software fails you.....Truly great!

Try creating a new user and see if it has the same issue.

Also check your DNS settings. I would try using opendns or google's free DNS. It might be a DNS hijack and not actually on the computer.
