So I just got my second promotion over here in the sandbox. The first was no big deal; got it within a month of getting here. This one however, is BIG. 27% pay increase and I'm now effectively in charge of all Hazardous Materials for 34 operating bases here in Afghanistan. Thanks for the congratulations.

I went with the mag 46, as it seemed to be the most popular choice. It was as good as I new it was gonna be. Paired it with a mildly cold A&W rootbeer. My first soda in quit a few weeks. It was fun to burp.

Saving that SW Maduro for Thanksgiving I think. Nothing like some good 'ol pre-pressed turkey from the DFAC to celebrate a good meal.
