Hey guys,

I just received a few cigars through a Secret Santa on a different forum and would like some info/personal opinions on them.

The loot:

1 Tatuaje Noella
1 Ashton VSG
1 Man O' War Puro Authentico
1 Cuenca Y Blanca
1 Cumbres Puriscal

I know of the VSG and Puro Authentico but not much about them and have smoked several Noellas. The Cuenca Y Blancas and Cumbres Puriscal are completely new to me.

Any thoughts or info about these sticks would be greatly appreciated.

Also, which one should I smoke first? :ccool:

CyB is a nice smoke bro and the noella is one of my faves. I can't speak for the rest. The sound of the MoW puro always intrigued me. Pick a number! Hard to choose...

honestly everything except the last is a dead sexy smoke. the tat noellas, and VSG, obviously, cuenca Y blanco now goes by CyB, it was the first joya de nicaragua/ drew estate cigar, and the puro authentico is a net brand from A.J.fernandez that a lot of guys here are quite fond of, including this fat kid. o)

just out of curiosity, are you looking for a consensus view of the quality, or a ballpark value?

Thanks for your responses so far, guys.

Actually, I'm mostly looking for personal experiences with these blends. I assume that these are all top notch, I just don't know much about a few of them. So far, hearing "oh that one's good" has been helpful and the details about the CyB and Puro Authentico were also great.

The VSG ages well if you're in to that kind of shiz. But there's a good chance that they're aged already if it was gifted.

Thats a nice little haul right there. I'd have the VSG take the Pepsi Challenge with 90% of the stuff out there because I just like it that much. Terrific stick, IMO. I actually just bought a box of CyB Lonsdales off Famous because I love them (and they were on sale and who can resist at these prices?) and the Tat Noella is one of those sticks that has made Tat the brand that it is today, a brand that is so respected partially because has a core line that is so good and consistent. I usually have a couple lying around cuz I always like em. I've had a couple Puro Authentico and I know some people like those a lot, but its just 'meh' for me, and I don't know jack bout the Cumbres.

The CYB Lonsdale is by far the best of the CYB. The Puro Authentico has some kick and basic enjoyable flavors. The Ashton is top notch and should be smoked low and slow. Noellas....only smoke it if you plan on falling in love...the last one I've never had.

The cumbres depends on the color of the band. Costa Rican cigar. I have had the green and the gold. Very mild cigar for me. About $100 a bundle. I am told the silver is better but moved on off the brand.
