Since we can't use the private range at the cabin, I thought I'd float the idea about a Saturday trip to one of the local ranges. Depending on the number interested we could possibly make it a contest with the buy in being a cigar or 2 and the winner taking the loot. (maybe have second place depending on the number interested.
If not I think just going to puts some rounds down range could be fun.
If we do I think it would be best to agree that firearms stay locked up and out of site while at the cabin.
Ive done some searches and there are some ranges in the area, some are outdoor/indoor but I can't couch for the quality of he range. If any one knows any of them and can recommend please speak up. Most ranges have rentals so if you don't have a weapon and want to join the fun I'm sure you can rent or a brother will let you use theirs. You may need to rent hearing protection.
