Hey everyone,
Just stumbled onto this site as a link from the cigar section of a car forum I read. Have already seen some good info and look forward to getting to know all you fine gents(and ladies if there are any).
I am a fairly recent addition to the cigar word-occasional smoker for the past couple years, been getting more serious about it the past couple months. Being from the great white north I have easy access to Habanos but unfortunately I don't have access to reasonable prices due to incredibly high tobacco taxation up here. Would love to try more of the N/Cs I have been reading about. Guess I'll have to head across the border long enough to bring some back duty-free.
Just got home from Puerto Vallarta and brought home a nice mixed box:
-4 each of
El Rey Del Mundo-Choix Supreme
Bolivar-Petit Corona
Cuaba-Tradicionale
Ramon Allones-Specially Select
Montecristo-Open Junior
H Upmann-Coronas Major
Romeo y Julieta-Belvedere
-and one
Romeo y Julieta-DUKE Edicion Limitada
Many of these were well aged in the shop's humidor(the Choix Supremes are from 02) and they are now resting happily in my first humidor. All bought from La Casa Del Habano-not the rip-off artists so common down there. If you head down that way I highly recommend stopping in their lounge to have a smoke and a Matusalem rum with my buddy Victor.
That's it for now. Happy to be here among new friends,
CJ
