Hi All,

I heard about your board from a current member, I am a member of another board, no not one that sounds like "stuff", I've just started smoking cigars about 4 months ago, I smoked cigarettes for 25 or so years and just quit in December, then discovered the deliciousness of cigars. I made a pretty rapid run through a lot of NCs and then was introduced to the darkside by some San Diego herfers and it's been down the slope ever since, but what a great ride. I pretty much made the call to go all CC, I just enjoy the subtle flavors and nuances to no end.

I am a user interface designer in the financial industry right now, I started out in the UI business a little over 20 years ago designing sites such as Amazon, Sony, HMstore.com and Cabela's to name a few, I then moved to SD from Boston and worked for 'the' tax software company before settling where I currently have been employed for the last 5 or so years as the lead designer.

I enjoy cooking, shooting pool and darts, reading and driving my 350z and pushing my non-smoking friends down the slope! I'm a Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Raiders fan ... don't ask how that last one got in there... I am sure there is plenty more but I don't want to wear out my welcome before I start!

Welcome to the madness. Where in San Diego are you? I just left University Heights for Rancho San Diego/Mt. Helix.

Thanks all, great welcoming.

Apaniagua to be honest I haven't even looked at my portfolio in the last 8 yrs, one of the nice things about not being an independent, but I worked on a great many sites back in the old days with ATG. At that time most everything we did was new and cutting edge, personalization was barely in it's infancy, so B2C sites with those new "shopping carts" and recommended items based on past purchases (An ATG first, first developed for Amazon), now well I just work on Financial software for banks and Independent Advisers, that being said I don't plan on needing to re-host and update my portfolio for many many years. :D
