In speach they always taught us to start off with something to catch peoples attention.... anyway, , :eyepoke: just wanted to see what peoples taste in travelling is like.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, and you had two months and a $4000 budget (airfare is already paid for) where would you go and how would you do it.

For me right now, Id like to start in Helsinki, and head into Estonia, Latvi, and Lithuania, with just my backpack and my camera, and see Eastern Europe before its not so Eastern anymore. Its Either that or starting in Singapore and taking the train up into thailand, stopping in Kuala lumpur and seeing thailand. Cheers!:smokingme

I would have to head to Europe also. Backpack around. Italy for sure. the UK, Spain, Scotland, Ireland the whole thing. Say at hostels and eat killer food and of course drink a lot of beer. O ya and Germany for beer.

For 4k? Tibet, Nepal and India. I really need to spend some time in Tibet before it becomes overrun with tourism thanks to the new high speed railway being built there.

Or, I'd probably do most of Australia, and then explore all of the little islands heading out west in the Pacific.

As for me, I'd go back to southern France and Spain, and of course hit up Monaco and Italy too.
Barcelona, Nice, Monte Carlo, a little town called Lucca, Marseilles, Cadiz, and of course I'd have to end it up in Paris. Probably my favorite city ever (minus the Frenchies). Might check out Greece, too, cause I've never been.

$4000 for 60 days is $66/day, so you'd have do be somewhat frugal.

Backpacking would be the way for me, maybe New Zealand or Australia.
