anybody else see/hear the speech? i've ever seen him quite so humble! i like him being humble, a lot less attitude.... i also enjoyed the kudos he gave at the end. despite our differences, we live in the best country in the world! and when the chips are down, there is no one better than a US citizen!! I still love this country overall. But Bush has made the USA look like SHIT to the rest of the world (and 2/3 of his own people). He has dragged Tony Blair down the dark path as well. He is so far up GW ass he can not get out. I am still shocked Bush was voted for a second term.

NY subway guy, Kenya guy who opened a new hospital, gal entrepuener working w/Missing and Exploited Children Foundation, and an army guy who was awarded the silver star. a very subdued and contrite President!

It's easy to be popular nowadays.....just get a blow job in the Oval Office and 48% approval ratings! THAT is what makes the USA look like shit. It is also easy to criticize especially when you don't offer legitimate options or solutions as to how you would deal with the issues (I am of course speaking of our friends on the other side of the isle).
My last word on the issue as I totally avoid debates so as to remain friends with everyone. (That's why I hated the Debate Room)

I don't want to start a debate, but Tony Blair made alot of his own problems, he didn't need GW's help. I agree, Bush makes our country look bad. I actually think he's a pretty intelligent person, he just comes across as a really dumb hick.
