Foot bands, specifically ribbon bands. I get why they're there -- they protect the foot (especially if there's no cello), which is the most vulnerable part of the wrapper since there's a raw edge. And they look purdy.

But they're usually on pretty tight! Do they seriously have a person slipping them on each cigar like a condom? Do they put the foot band on from the top and slide it all the way down? Anyone ever seen this done?

The hand rolled cigar process is endlessly fascinating.

Not to be indelicate but I assumed they put them on the same way you put on a cock ring. I mean, when you take the band off, that Churchill goes down to a Robusto, doesn't it?

Who could possibly follow that?

Anyways...cigars right from the mold are pretty light and will relax and get a little bigger. Put bands on right from the mold and they become a little snug.

I store everything I keep loose with no cello and a foot ribbon.
They're quick and easy to apply, a pro can prob do a whole box in under 2min.

I think that's the first time I've seen cock ring come up in casual conversation here.
Regretfully, this isn't the first time for me...
Says the guy whose avatar has people bound in duct tape!

No matter how degenerate of a person I think I've become, I can count on coming here and feeling normal and among friends!

Not sure if I want to follow all that up, but having seen em banded several times, this is done right before boxing and after they have sat in the aging room, not right after being rolled. These women do this all day, every day and put them on in place and they stay there. They have perfected it just like the rollers have perfected their trade.

Thanks for clearing that up Craig. May have gotten a little off topic there.
