Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen.
I am an English/Irishman who has lived for a large time in Scotland. I like whiskey, whisky, rye and bourbon. I'm an engineer by trade, student by choice and work in hospitality by necessity.
Cigars are a relatively new thing for me. Since starting a job last year where I have access to some cubans I have developed an interest and even bought a few.
So far I've enjoyed and own a few of these:
Cohiba Siglo 1 & Behike 52
Hoyo De Monterrey Petit Robusto
Monte Cristo No.4
Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill
H Upmann Half Corona.
I have yet to try but own:
Partagas Series D No.4,
Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No.2,
Romeo y Julieta No.3,
Monte Cristo Petit Edmundo & No.2.
Bought myself a Western Caliber IV Hygrometer, tupperware tub and some Boveda packs recently along with one of the Palio Cutters. All of which I'm pretty happy with.
A humidor will come in due time but I'm not in a ru$h.
Initially I would say the ones that stood out for me were both the Cohibas I mentioned (especially the siglo1). Also the Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill and finally the Monte Cristo No.4.
I'm enjoying the cigars I've tried so far. Definitely open to any suggestions you folks might have. Looking forward to learning a thing or two and enjoying more cigars!
The forum here is clearly very cool. I thought it would be worth my time to join up and learn a thing or two from you folks & shoot the breeze.
Cheers!
