How do you post a poll?

I selected post a new thread and I see at the bottom where you check "Yes, post a poll with this thread" which I did and also entered the number of poll options. My problem is I don't see any fields where I can fill in those options. I can only enter the title and message like a regular thread. Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong?

After selecting the check box and how many options, hit Submit...then a new screen will come up where you put in your poll choices.
