How Good are the GoF?

I see these at b&m's anywhere from 20 to 30+ a piece. I know Fuente
makes some great High End Sticks, but are they "THat Good"? Anyone
care to chime in?

They are pretty good... When you find them on special... Not worth the scratch IMHO at full retail....

Yes they are very good but not in that range. Can be had for a better deal.

good but not high dollar great. can be found at a discount on occasion. check prometheus.

These aren't too bad Excel but not great. I really don't think there worth the coin they cost.

IMHO...These are much like Cohibas...Very good cigars, but so overrated and overpriced that it's just not worth it.

Kinda like a Porsche 911 selling for $1,000,000.000. Incredible machine, but NOT worth a million bucks!

I like them a lot for a really smooth cigar. It's not the most complex or anything but it's a good smoke, IMO. The 2005 Don Carlos are probably my favorite.

Imho it is amongst the handfull cigars that can compare to a good cc! I REALLY enjoy them and they are very balanced. I dont mind paying 20 bucks for them and I have had a couple and are very very good. Give them a go!

I'm a HUGE fan of the God of Fire series.In my opinion it's the best Fuente stick out there.

As far as price, I think they are worth the $20-$30 price tag. Here's why, I don't look at the "cost of the cigar." For me, I'm going to be ENJOYING the cigar for the next 1.5 - 2 hours, so I look at it as I'm paying $10 - $15 per hour to enjoy a VERY FINE cigar. That's basically the equivalent to going to a movie, enjoying a nice glass of scotch, or playing golf- based on "what you pay per hour" to enjoy that activity.

Just my 2 cents and justification for paying the cost of this INCREDIBLE cigar.

I've had one so far and it was probably the best Fuente I've had. I know the price is crazy and it's not likely I'll buy many more in the future at $20-$30... but I really enjoyed the one I had.

It's definitely one to try at least once.
