As most of u know I retired in Dec. from the fire service, well-being retired is great, contracting back to the Gov. is even better, I get to choose when and where I want to go work, This has been a very busy fire season already, I starting in Southern Cal, ( working as a Helicopter Coordinator for the Night Flying Operation for 30 days ) ( thought I was turning in a Vampire), My lasted lil job is working as a Aircraft Dispatcher out of Phoenix-Mesa-Gateway airport aka Phoenix Airtanker Base, we have been hosting a few different types of airtankers , Helitanker (Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane), DC-10, Bae-146, C-130 J's Active Military (from the Air Nal. Gaurd), It was a real kick working with these C-130 crews, it wasn't ur typical war time mission for these Gals n Guys, we have lots of fun and put out lots of fire with these birds....... Fire season is about done here AZ, Next stop will Oregon or back to Southern Cal ......Here r some of the pic of aircraft we have been using here at Santa Maria and Phoenix.....Added a couple more pic......

That is pretty sweet. I've always thought planes were pretty sweet. I have speed fascination which is never good.

Sounds nice being retired I only have another 30 years. I want to go up in a fighter jet and try some heavy G force out.

Keep posting up these pics they are truly amazing and cheer to you and the fun times lol.

Sweet! Thank you for your service. Sounds like a fun retirement. Hopefully one day we will cross paths and can smoke a cigar together.
