An interesting article I found in our local paper on the beginnings of kitty litter...as I searched the forum for some KL advice I found some massive debates on beads vs clay vs KL well most seem to have done the comparative research on the silica used in KL and Beads and it also seems that clay is a major component of KL. Who knew?!? This is not intended to start a debate just a cool story. (FWIW it doesn't touch on anything cigar related)

Yeah....the debate still continues and when you consider that we ingest tons of pollutants when we step outside plus the fact that most people are on at least 3 medications that are filtered through the liver....plus we're smoking cigars that have their own pollutants...KL should be at the tail end of the dog as far as worries. I use with no issues at all....I was a Safety Manager for 20 years and know more about MSDS and materials so as I said....the chances of having any worries about the amounts of silica being ingested into your lungs....you'd have to sniff a bagful every day for 20 years to have issues.

While there are some dangers to Kitty Litter, I'm flabbergasted that we aren't talking more about the really dangerous substance usually used right alongside the KL:

Dihydrogen Monoxide.

Sure, KL is the "sexy" topic, but why is no one talking about the dangers of DHMO?!

Educate yourself, folks...

What is the link between Dihydrogen Monoxide and school violence?
A recent stunning revelation is that in every single instance of violence in our country's schools, including infamous shootings in high schools in Denver and Arkansas, Dihydrogen Monoxide was involved. In fact, DHMO is often very available to students of all ages within the assumed safe confines of school buildings. None of the school administrators with which we spoke could say for certain how much of the substance is in use within their very hallways.
