A couple of requests for this in another thread so I thought I would post this with pictures.

The refrigerator was previously used to cure meat so after a thorough washdown with soapy water and bleach I kept the interior sprayed down with a water and baking soda solution. In a week or two the odors where gone and I loaded the fridge with Tupperware.

Important thing to remember is the Tupperware has to have an environmental seal so it will hold humidity independent of the humidity in the refrigerator.

The Ink Bird is set to maintain a temperature between 68 and 65 degrees. During the winter I use the small red heater to keep the temperatures above 55 degrees.

You can see the temperature probe for the Ink Bird under the plastic bags in the door.

I built some simple storage out of rough cut Spanish Cedar. All Tupperware has about a one inch thick layer of Kitty Litter and a couple of 65% Bovedas to hold humidity.

With the incredible heat and humidity of Southeast Louisiana summers this solution has proven to be very stable. Cigars that do not fit into the Tupperware is placed in doubled ziplocks with a Boveda and placed in any extra space I can find.

Nice! And I see you made sure not to post any pics of it looking empty. Although there does seem to be a little room...;)

Where'd you get the Spanish Cedar?

It's not difficult to find at the specialty lumber stores down here. Normally it's rough cut or smooth sanded on just one side and since I do not own a wood shop I have to put functionality over form and finish. Thanks for the kind words guys.
