The tat PCR is undoubtedly the cigar I smoke most, having gone through cab after cab. A new cab however never lasts longer than a few months.

So, what I'm looking for is opinions on those who have had PCR's with a few years on them. Wondering if I should store a cab away just for the hell of it or continue to smoke the crap outta them when theyre fresh!

Thanks for any input

I say why risk ruining something that you know is already good?

1) small cigars round out quicker with age than larger vitolas, in most instances.

2) the cigars made by the garcia fam, most especially pete's blends, have a solid track record for successful aging.

3) they're small as shit, so storing a couple few shouldn't be a major issue.

to me, if you are hella hooked on the PCR (with good reason), next cab, ribbon down half of it, tag it with a date, and bury it. smoke half, and forget the other half. rinse and repeat as often as your situation calls for.

Thats what I would do.
