Looking for first-hand experience/opinions on the Hoyo Double Coronas compared to the Parti Lusi. I've heard great things about both, but am torn between the reviews. If you have smoked both, which do you prefer, and why (aside from the price differences). Looking at adding a box of one of these in my next order, and have never smoked either. Both sound like great smokes. Thanks.

I can't say I've had the Hoyo, sorry. However, the Lusi is GOOD. Like, I wish I had a box or six in my humidor good. I don't think you can go wrong with them.

Plus, they're offered in a cab which @jolietilfire speaks very highly of. I tend to listen when he speaks.
ETA: apparently they're both offered in cabs, so that's a moot point.

im with alex, have only had the lusi and it is a monster smoke but was awesome. and the one i had was fresh (<1year) and i enjoyed it throughout. Cant wait for some warm weather to get some more burning since its a 2.5 hour smoke for me.

I'm in the "never had the Hoyo, but the Lusi is GOOD" camp.

So good. So, so good.

Party Lusis are one of my favorite aging cigars. I love them so much I paid over 600 for a hand selected cab back in 2010 when cabs we're going for around 425.00
Having said that Hoyo DC are a fantastic cigar with some rest as well. Lusis can be mild the first third and then be balls out the last third in strength.
Hoyo DCs are more of a mild nutty oaky goodness most of the way thru but can be harsh the first year or so after being produced. Just my 2 cents.
Both can age gracefully for a couple decades.
