Or something...I really don't know much about it, I know it retails for close to $400...I saw it at the PX marked for $150, and called my brother, (a techno junkie) who said to jump on it for that price, and if I didn't want it, I could turn around and sell it for about double that...So I picked it up, seems like a pretty cool little toy, anybody have one? What do you use it for? Work? Play? I've got the wireless set up on it, but have no real programs for it...What is available for these things? Where is a good place to download them? I've done a few brief googles, but nothing in depth yet, not sure if I am going to keep it or not...

I have a Palm Zire72 that work gave me... it never leaves my car and is only used for the TomTom Navigator software I purchased for it. Prior to that I tried using it for my calendar, tasks, email, etc but I never utilized it because I hated carrying it around. As soon as Nextel released their Windows Mobile phone I jumped on that and I keep my Calendar/Contacts updated since I always have it on my side.

My uncle works for HP so he gets ipaqs for him and his wife now. They are pretty nice PDAs. Now that a lot of stuff is running windows mobile its more about the specs on it.

I like my Treo smartphone though, and the palm OS. I just wish there were some more linux PDAs out there.

I've owned my iPaq 2215 for about 3 years, I think, and I've been quite satisfied with it. If you're looking for places to download software, I've found some things at the general download sites like download.com and Tucows. However, I think I've gotten more at Handango.

If you use Quicken at home, you might also be interested in the authorized pocket version from Landware. I also use their Wine Guide software. The most indispensible app I've downloaded, though, is eWallet from Ilium Software. I use it to keep track of my passwords, accounts, and a host of other information. I also bought ListPro from them, which I find very handy, as well.
