Alright, I've had my order in for the Incredible for 2 weeks now. I've been reading reports that things are being delayed until the 1st week of August from HTC because of the screen. Word on the street isthat the Droid X should be available in about 1-2 weeks for those who have pre-ordered it and some have even already gotten their hands on it now.

Should I wait for the Incredible, or swap my order for the Droid X? From what I've seen, the X is pretty freaking large. I have medium hands, but that thing looks pretty darn big in the pictures.

Regards,
Randy

I absolutely love my incredible and would recommend it to anyone. I had the chance to play with the new Sprint evo which has the same size screen as the Droid x and it is a handful. I'm sure that its going to be a great phone, just a large one. You will probably be happy with either one but I can tell you if your concerned about size get the incredible. It's sleek light and thin and overall a great phone.

Yup, go check out an evo if you want an idea of the size of the droid x. It launches on the 15th (next thursday) and you should be able to pick one up if you get there early on launch day or order one online.

They're both great phones. Just decide if you want a big screen or a huge screen and that'll probably make your decision for you.

I appreciate the replies. I guess like you guys mentioned, and as I found out on online reviews/comparisons, it boils down to 3 things:

4.3" on Droid X vs 3.7" screen on the HTC incredible
Motorola Blur vs. HTC Sense
Larger footprint vs slightly smaller footprint

Looks like I'm going to wait for my order on the Incredible. One more month on top of the 2 weeks I've been waiting.

Regards,
Randy
