Hi,
I am new at smoking cigars. I have Dominican, Nicaraguan and Cuban cigars in one humidor. I do not know which humidity I should use? Can you tell me your experiences in case of taste at different humidity levels? And what is your suggestion?

It's all about preference. My advice to noobs is to start at 65%, because it's a good, moderate, middle-ground rH that 90% of BOTLs keep their stash at. Most of us find that at higher rh like 70* cigars are too wet, with burn problems, and muted flavor at best, bitter, harsh, or acrid flavors at worst. Too low, say sub-60%, and you get brittle, cracked wrappers, and a general lack of flavor because the oils have evaporated. But some guys, myself included like a lot of cigars at 62%, finding the right balance there, while others prefer 67% because of the type of cigars they smoke and their smoking methos.

The only way to know for sure though is to get 3 small food-safe, air-tight containers (tupperware), and get one of each of the Boveda 62, 65, and 67% bags. Pick five cigars of varying types, and get three of each chosen cigar. Put one of each cigar in each container with the Boveda. Wait 4-6 weeks for them to accumulate, and sample; then you'll have an idea of the difference and can decide for yourself where you prefer them to be.

That's the best explanation I've heard yet!

I cannot find 67 rh Boveda. There is 69 rh Boveda. Is there muted flavors at 70 rh for Cubans or all types of cigars. I am asking about your experiences.

Then try it with the 69%.

Yes, at 70% I experience muted flavors across the board.

Look, I mean no offense, but you already asked these questions over at Puff over three separate threads, and got the exact same answers I gave above, from multiple people. So you know that most of us prefer mid-60%, often lower for Cubans, but that it really does come down to individual preference at the end. So, you can either believe what those of us who have already commented have told you, or test for yourself. But asking the same question over and over isn't likely to yield different results... what exactly is it that you're hoping to hear?

And go make an intro thread bro, unless you signed up just to ask the same question again.
