I'm currently refurbing a cabinet humidor. I'm lining with cedar veneer for aesthetics and installing lights and fans to circulate the air. Its a 5 foot tall cabinet with a pointed top. I'm thinking of installing 4 cpu cooling fans on the one side at each shelf level to push the air up the one side and assume it will circulate around the whole cabinet. Is this a sensible idea or should I install 2 to push air up one side and 2 to push down on the other side.( on seperate shelves)

What do you think ?

where you place fans depends on design of cabinet. if there is good airflow, placement wont be so critical. if the cabinet is poorly designed, then you might need to do some experimanting to get things right.

use velcro to attach the fans so that you can move them around till you find the perfect spots for the fans

i've found a photo to show the shape. im thinking 4 x 40mm fans pushing air up the right side should do the job. i cant use velcro as i will need to drill the solid shelves to allow the air to flow.
