It seemed like a lot of folks decided to not evacuate. I hope they made the correct choice. Mother Nature can do some real scary stuff. All involved are in my thoughts and prayers.

I stayed through 2 hurricanes when I lived in Miami. The second one convinced me never again.

I just moved down to Savannah, like this week, and we were right in the path of the hurricane. Well, we have a six month old baby, and don't even have any of our stuff yet, so we evacuated to my girlfriend'/ uncle's house just outside of Charlotte.

I lived through Sandy, so I know better than to try to stick it out.

good call on evacuating. I got my ass handed to me with Sandy as well, and I never want to go through that again. Great move on getting your family into a safe zone. Hope the new home is ok when you guys make it back. Stay safe brother
