I hope that it's not as bad as the last season. If the water temp. in the gulf stays pretty high then the gulf states will get pummeled again.

This is about the bottom line right here. If the gulf stays with warm water, then the massive hurricanes will continues. I do hope that we learned something last year and are more prepared this year.

I work for a gasoline retailer and we have a hurricane plan to deal with the refugees. We are 6 hours from the coast but we had a tremendous number of refugees from Rita. We sell gas at about 95 locations in central and west texas.

Well folks, I just came back from a week long meeting in GA. (This meeting was for the main Gov Agencies that will respond with FEMA) From what we have been told , the folks in the Golf States and on the Eastern Sea board all should watch out, the water temps are higher, winds are stronger and sun and moon are all in favor for another wild season......
Are we ready??? My Gov. agency said we will go, we will respond faster than last year. Some Gov. agency are more active than other when it comes to the planning stage, U will see more trucks staged and ready to go sooner than last year. The Golf States already have lots of stuff stage. FL. has been and is ready, the East Coast is moving stuff in up and down the coast line. If DHS and FEMA can't play in the same sand box this year, the Big Brother will SHIT CAN FEMA like a bad habit, FEMA has been put on notice (they better not screw up this year), (even tho it wasn't all FEMA's fault)
Now the ? is, are the States ready????
