I've always trusted my beads. So I never sweated it out when I noticed my coolidor's humidity rising, because I suspected it wasn't really rising.

To confirm what I suspected, I salt tested, and then Boveda tested my 3 hyrgometers. At both 75% (salt test) and 69% (Boveda), my three hyrometers were reading +4, +6, and +6 higher than actual.

I thought it was interesting that they are all drifting up. I have 2 Caliber III and 1 Don Salvator hygrometers. I guess they are all about 3 years old.

I have had that happen to the Cal III's a few times. If you want, call them and they'll replace it or them otherwise just note the diffference.

I'm surprised by this as well. I have a Cigar Oasis II XL in my humi and have to set it at 77% to get 70% (separate hygrometer). Can't figure out why the II XL is that far off.
