Hygrometer problem

Brothers, I have a dilemma. My square xikar is all over the place recently. This will be for my newair 280 wineador.

I need a good hygrometer. Digital preferred that will not skew on me. Hat does everyone use and how long have you used it?

Try the round Xikar, those work much better because the shape better allows intake of conditions than the square kind...haha, I'm just kidding brotha.

Myself, all of mine are xikar, and yes they are round, but in all seriousness, they work great for me. I have had to take the battery out of one and recalibrate it but since then its rock solid.

If you have never removed the battery and recalibrated it, I would suggest trying that once so you don't lose your money. That worked for me.

Otherwise, most people around here seem to either go with the Wal-Mart hygro (which is too large for my liking but supposedly works perfectly good) and the "Hygroset" from cheaphumidors.com.

Work great and can be calibrated. Im running 2 in my coolidor and 1 for a outside temp cause its cooooold outside
