hello all,

I have mainly been a lurker, but I thought I would share my new toy. I just picked up a new Smith and Wesson .460 Es and she is a handful. I chose her mainly because of cartridge versatility 45 LC 454 casull and of course .460. I got it for bear medicine. Where I am in Utah we have blackies so I will keep it loaded mainly with .45LC Buffalo Bore + P ammo, it causes quite a stir at the range with it 2 inch barrel quite a rush to shoot it I am sure

What I want to see is pics of you squeezing off some of the .460s at night! I bet that thing is quite a fire breather with a full hunting barrel on it let alone with that small 2"er.

Nice purchase. I really like those small barreled big bore revolvers. I'm sure when you fire it at the range everyone knows your there and wants to see what your shooting.

The one is in the comparative picture is just like mine except I changed the grip to a black one as the yellow one gets too dirty from shooting. I will post some pics in a while. I have a holster for this beast too and I carry it around time, I know not very practical, but hey I load it with 45 lc hollow points and so it is a pussy cat.

Bet that 2" barrel gives out some kind of bark.

Smokie, is that an Hornady A-Max you have loaded for the revolver?
