I smoked a 2008 Camacho Liberty I bought when they first came out on my 2.5 hour journey to a b&m. I was very surprised to see that the shop had AF Anejo sharks as I have never had this Anejo vitola before. I picked up a couple sharks and a couple Flying Pigs and a Pepin Garcia house cigar rolled for the shop. Going to go eat then smoking a Tat Reserva A Uno. Should be a good night.

I did not get to the reserva A Uno as it was to late in the night. I had a La Aroma de Cuba instead.

I've only had the 47 in the past but the Shark had a bit more spice to it. I really liked the unique shape. I am not a fan of the Opus x but i really enjoy the Anejo's so far.

The Camacho Liberty 2008 was really enjoyable. The only complaint would be that the ash was rather flaky throughout. I did pick out some creamy notes and it burned quite well for a barber pole. Not having a Liberty 2008 prior I have to guess that the 2 years helped smooth out the cigar as I detected it could have been stronger cigar when smoking at the time of release.

The Anejo I will definitely keep smoking and the Liberty 2008 I could live without smoking again. It was good but not I can't live without it good, imo.

Anejo Shark is a great smoke. I bought a box of the 08 Liberty's and enjoyed them, never was a strong cigar but had a very cedar characteristic to it. Kind of reminds me of Padron 1964's a little bit. Been a while since I have smoked one, might need to revisit. Sounds like a great lineup of smokes you had there!

Thanks for the response. I just made a blind guess on it being stronger at the intial release date. The only Camacho I consistantly smoke is their triple maduro. I bought the Camacho travelers bag which has the Diploma, Liberty 2007, the CLE, the corojo 10th anniversary, and triple maduro. I've only had the 2007 liberty but will have to try the others as soon as I can.
