My girlfriend and I have been together for about 8 years now and living together for almost 5 years.
I have been smoking cigars for about 20 years but not until the last 6 have I been smoking as often as I do. Over the last few years she has bought me beautiful gifts in the way of Cigars and accessories ( humidors, lighters, this Christmas a box of Flying Pigs) but last year she urged me to purchase an outdoor propane heater so when I would go out in the backyard in the evening to have my cigar, she could come out and sit with me in the fall or early spring. It's been great and I love having her sit out there with me on nice nights.
The thing that put it over the top for me was a few weeks ago ( there was still snow on the ground and it was a crappy night ) we had finished dinner and she said to me, why dont we go to the Brickhouse and have some esspresso there instead of sitting home. Well, the Brickhouse is a local reastuant about 10 minutes from my house and the downstairs bar is a Cigar bar. So we went there, had some esspresso, of course they gave us some biscotti with it, I had some annisette and I nice Liga Pravada #9.
It was just a great night and the fact that she makes these suggestions to me is just fantastic.
