I really need some advice brothers!

I am turning 30 next year and that is a huge deal in Sweden, my fiances gift to me is a trip and we would like to visit Florida again and during our stay enjoy a cruise, it should be at 34-10 days depending. I am searching the web but there is to much and I don't know what is good or bad, I am grateful for any tips. My demands are that it should be all inclusive, and not to expensive.

we had an excellent experience with royal caribbean's cruise that went to labadee, jamaica, grand cayman and cozumel. week long. food is included. any cruise offers side trips at all stops, but they cost extra. you can, of course, strike out on your own as long as you're careful.

I liked Carnival - Can't wait to go on another Cruise. At the time, they were very smoking friendly, though I can't say if that's still the same.

My advice - go when the kids are still in school.

Yeah that is important to me, I have absolutely nothing against kids but I don't want to be on a giant kinder garden at sea. As you mentioned it is important for me to be able to enjoy some cigars so it should be cigar friendly, I hate cigarettes though

We've been on a handfull of cruises and the line we love is Holland America. It's more expensive, but it's first class all the way.

You can search under Expedia.com to get an idea of what each cruise offers. That will show you multiple cruise line, multiple destinations, and can be searched by date. Also will shop ships amenities as well. Don't have to use that site to make purchase but for me is usually a good start.

I went on a Carnival cruise last year in January. I can't remember the name of the ship but they did have a cigar bar. I would double check that is the case. It was a 7 day cruise where food was included but you had to pay for your alcoholic beverages.

My fondest memory was when I went to Graycliff Hotel on Nassau. I got to watch them roll cigars for a while and the people there were very friendly.

I will probably never go on another cruise ever again because of the reason why I went on the cruise.

Fairly certain any cruise, the term "all-inclusive" is only going to include food, and not booze....and I've been told the booze ain't cheap.

A cruise would be fun I suppose to visit different cities and what not....but give me an all inclusive resort, with 5-7 restaraunts, fridges in your room that get restocked with beer daily, fifths of booze that hang on your wall, swim up bars that will make any drink you ask (already paid for).....and the rest is just sit back, relax, and enjoy.

I´ll have to check them all out, I actually dont care if the alcohol costs, at most I drink 1-2 bear and the stuff I like is never included in the "all inclusive package" or if it is I cant afford that package. But I can eat 10 times a day easy and the shows are important but a good pool, sun deck is important to.

My wife and I travel a LOT (9 countries last year) and love to cruise at least once a year!

Our favorite cruise liner (and we're club members at virtually all of them)... believe it or not... has been Carnival lately!

They have smoking AREAS... don't think you're gonna smoke on the whole ship... but you CAN get a room with a smoking patio... they always have a smoker-friendly bar... and there's an actual cigar lounge on each ship. You'll figure it all out pretty fast...

As for Royal Caribbean... we've enjoyed great service over the years, but I'm just gonna be honest here........ they've become floating casinos and shopping centers full of the elderly. Their shows are are even directed at an older crowd than folks in their 30s. Which would you rather go see at a show during an at-sea day: a ballroom dancing escapade or a fire-on-ice acrobatic display followed by an adult comedy show? If you said ballroom dancing... Royal Caribbean might be for you.

I'd seriously consider Carnival... especially for younger, more active folks that don't cruise a lot.

DAMN 9 countries? Wish I could afford that, me and my fiance love to travel and we work a lot to be able to make 2 trips per year!

Also if anyone had some issues when cruising pls do tell so I know what to think of and look out for!

My first and only cruise was on a carnival fun boat from Tampa, Fl to Cozumel, Mex. They said there were several pools but there was really only one which was about the size of four hot tubes. The other so called pools were small pools of water at the bottom of water slides.

It did have decent entertainment and great food. I smoked cigars even though there was no cigar lounge.

If I were to go on a cruise again I would go on a bigger ship (bigger pool, more room) and one less geared toward kids.
