I think I may be an official FOG

I realized today that I haven't been checking my phone as much lately and trust me I am on a lot reading posts. My conclusion is I may have actually became an actual FOG this week.

I have noticed the cycles and the repeat posts asking the same questions but in different ways. There is a obvious ebb & flow our community has. This is not a bad thing it's just a thing that happens when we get new and great brothers on here and have that thirst for knowledge we all have.

I thought I might sit back a bit and just read for awhile, maybe chime in when something strikes me. I am pretty sure this is the FOG life. I just thought I'd share and get some discussion from what you guys think. Especially what the other brothers think that have been on here for awhile and have been very active in the past.

I was part of a forum for a few years (unrelated to cigars) and I can concur with your thoughts. Forums do have an ebb and flow of convo that is constantly rising and falling with newbies and newer guys. Then you get to the point where you're like "God, I've had this conversation 1000 times" and start becoming more selective in your comments. It's natural you old son of a bitch.

and, yeah, while you do see the ebb and flow over time, it can allow you to be a better guide. think back on all the guys who were able to answer a question without blinking when you first joined. now you can do that.

kinda like mugen roshi from DBZ or happosai from ranma, there is a longstanding tradition of perverted masters (although mostly in japan, so i don't know how relevant that is?). i think it would suit you, rex.
