I was going to cut a stick when the blades jammed, (or maybe it was my error) and it completely shattered the wrapper/head of my favorite stick. It made me so mad to have to throw one out. GRRRRR. Glad I have a whole box+ of these resting. But $6 in the trash is never fun to see. Especially your favorite stick.

Now I'm going to dig through the trash and try to salvage the poor thing. If anything ill try to cut both ends and smoke the middle for a shortened smoke.

Seriously though, if it does it again, might be time to consider a new cutter.. Xikar or Palio FTW!
And if your able to, try cutting it farther down, then lick/stick the loose bit if wrapper..

I'm using a Colibri Firebird. I'm going to dig it out of the garbage. I hate wasting such a delicious stick as these.

I am curious what Cutter do you have? $3.95 cheapie special? Reason to have a good Cutter to keep from screwing up your sticks.

Being a newb I only have the cheapie cutter and it's hosed up a few sticks. But being a cheap ass I've managed to lick my finger and smooth the wrapper back into place and get it smokable again instead of throwing it away.

OP, I feel your pain.

There are some great cutter under $40.00, and if you toss a few $10.00 stick a better cutter will pay for itself fast.

I am also frugal. (y)
