Got a great price on either box.

Love the 68s, but have never smoked the 88s.

I noticed the 68s are have received reviews that are a smidge higher and I wonder if that is just from the size.

Again, love the 68s and looking for feedback on how the 88s taste compared to the 68s.

Thanks

I would go with the 68's... great little smokes. The 88's aren't bad but don't shine quite as much. They're a little more on the medium-full spectrum and the flavors are a bit more muted than the full bodied 68's.

I'm a big fan of the 68. To me, the flavors were more pronounced than the 88 and the 45-60 minute time frame is perfect for me. I ended up buying a box a few months back with a date code from mid-08 that is phenomenal right now. I will probably order another.

Regards,
Randy

I think the 68s are flavor bombs, too. I just wanted some feedback since I have not had the pleasure of smoking an 88.

That Bombone is quite a smoke!

Trick question - the answer is both! Especially if you are able to get them for a good price. The 88's are a little more subtle than the 68's, but still very good. I personally like the CG4's better, but I generally like corona gordas more than robustos. If you haven't had any of the ODs but the 88's, I'd recommend getting a line sampler and treat yourself to the sometimes subtle differences. Dion doesn't make a bad cigar. Enjoy.

danm.5281, what a great idea!

I was thinking about the cg4! I have a great price on that too and people have been raving about that stick!

Hmm......cg4

If I got another box of illusione's regular lineup. Without hesitation my first 3 would be cg4, mk, and 68.

88's are very good as well and are worth getting(especially a 5er or two), there are a few other sizes I'd say to get before getting a box of 88s IMO.(The smaller the ring gauge, the better.)

Have a single stick left from a box of cg4s I bought almost two years ago. Debating between another box or a box of the 88s. Definitely everything from Dion is killer!
