I recently took a 30ft fall from a tree doing some tree work for my brother. 2 fractured verts in the neck, broken rib, broken clavical and a trip to the emergency room via Life Flight along with a stay in the hospital through 4th of July weekend, I'm finally back home. Looks like I'll be layed up for the next 6 weeks as I really cant drive(safely anyways). Accidents like this always seem to put a new outlook on family, friends, priorities and good cigars.

Dude glad you're o.k. that is definitely a bad day and a horrible weekend but glad you're doing fine... Any long term health issues you might be facing due to broken verts?

Holy Crap man!!! That's a bad ass story. I'm sorry it happened, but at least you have a killer story for the kids and grandkids when they come along. You didn't happen to get it on video did you? Ok just kidding, but Break.com will pay you $400 for a video like that.

I do hope your recovery goes well and that you can get back to your normal day to day soon.

Damn dude. I think I would trade you places right now. I actually wish that I broke my femur while I was home on leave and that I was in traction laid up in a bed instead of being in Turkey.

My only dilema now is I'm stuck at home with only CC's and a few Tats. I never thought that PSD4's would become a daily smoke. I need to get to a Band M soon.

Your very lucky as I'm sure you're well aware.
I'm relatively new to this place, but all the same - I wish you luck & a speedy recovery!
(And enjoy those wonderfull cigars! They were meant to be smoked!)

It would be a shame to waste those fine CC's in your druged up state. I'll trade you those for some dog rockets you will not feel bad about smokeing right now. Take a few pain pills and think about it, then take a few more and a couple of stout drinks.

Actualy, glad you are OK, hang in there, and if you can't get out to your B&M, you might want to check out the trading post, quite a few sales going on right now.

Good Luck Bro!

Wow...TB thats quite a fall. I have seen guys die from much shorter falls. I can imagine an event like that would make you rethink life a bit. BTW...I lived in Cleveland for 3 years...is that where you currently live?
