the highlight of the year!! i'm off till April 23. Monday AM, Jer and I fly into New Orleans for 2 nights,,, followed by 7 nights on a quaint carribean island off the coast of Belize.

fisrt time to NO! staying at the royal sonesta on bourbon street!!

starting to pack.... gonna leave the computer behind,,, will check in!! ya'll behave yourself that's funny!!

new orleans was interesting! great food!! belize is freaking unbelizeable!! hooked a 4' barracuda today!! then ate it, along with some yellowtail snapper, lobster, and a fresh conch cerviche our captain cooked up for us on the catamaran!! pics to follow...

i'd say it has the texture of shark,, fantastic flavor (we ate it w/in an hour of catching it!!)

another fantastic day!! fished the backside of the island and just raped those poor snappers!! rest easy,, i wore protection! hahahaha!!

monday, the same captain is going to take me spear fishing!! that'll be a hoot!!

there's a new bistro/sushi/nightclub having a soft opening tonight and we've been invited!! best part,,, it's 50 yards from our place!!

wait till you see these pics!! the barracuda scared the shit out of me.... 20 of them,,, ranging from 4 to 6 foot.... w/in five feet in front/back/side of me.... i don't think i'm supposed to be swimming with 6' barracuda... and i certainly didn't shoot at one...

all-in-all, i speared three,,, out of the 18 displayed....
