Well I'm psyched! Got a great deal on a 24" iMac, last year's model, very close to the new ones in speed and HD space. Coming from a first generation G4, this is lightning fast. Faster than my G5 at work!

Congrats! It's a damn-fine computer, and other than a few minor things (and of course cosmetics), there's not much difference between the last model and the new one. From a functional day-to-day use standpoint, there's not any REAL difference at all.
Well, other than that new badassed keyboard, but you could buy one of those yourself anytime.
