I am in Rome on my honeymoon right now and I wanted to know what everyone thought I should buy. There are several shops near me that I could looks around at, but I am like a kid at a candy store and I don't know what I should get.

So far I have bought:
1 x Cohiba Maduros Genios
1 x Hoyo de Monterrey 2007 - Edición Limitada
1 x Montecristo 2010 - Edición Limitada
1 x Partagas Serie D #4
1 x Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills

THinking of getting Punch Diadema Exclusivo Italia (55 x 9.2") but they are so huge and cost $26 bucks a piece. THink they are worth getting?

Also do I have to do anything when bringing them back with me? as far as removing labels or taking out of boxes?

Thanks for the advise.

You are Canadian right? No worries bringing them back. My experience was that the good deals were on reg production more then EL stuff so would stay with those. If you were willing to bring back a box of the Diademas for meI would deffinately make it worth your while. :)
Yeah any ER you can find is always a worthy thing to bring back.

I am actually in Southern California. So you don't think that $26 a piece is too much for those?

I would definately pick up a couple of the Punch Diadema RE's, at $26 they are a steal. I paid $40 for mine. Also would take look for ome of the old punch superfinos, and ramon allones seleccion suprema both were RE's from 05, but you may be able to find some. Not saying they are spectacular or anything, but hard to find anywhere else. Maybe try the new behikes or a gran reserva if you get a chance. All expensive smokes, but hey, you are on your honeymoon! So celebrate!

I don't think $26 bucks is that bad for a punch Diadema RE at all. I paid closer to $35 for the ones i got. Go for it, it's a very unique regional and is definitely worth the coin. when in rome :)

I am also in Rome. Where are you staying. We are at The St. Regis. I went to LCDH today, and the selection was crap. We are going to the Vatican tomorrow, and then getting on the ship on Wednesday.

Hey Brooks, what part of they have no RE's did you not read? Really they only had an empty box of the ERDM RE's, but I will check some other places tomorrow, and we will be in Florence, Lucca, and Pizza in a few days, so I will check there as well.

Just down the street from the big train station near the Vatican there is a decent store that is where I found the ERDM ER's. Watch out for mold as some were a little moldy but opening the boxes and picking was easy enough. That was the only place I could find ER's in all of Rome.

Over The last two years I flew back from Italy twice. Once out of naples and once out of Venice. Its VERY sorry to say that the only folks that thouoghly had their bags searched in Boston or Newark were Muslims or Dark skinned individuals w/ Non-US passports

My .02 is pick up the diadema. I had it a couple month's ago and it was the best Punch I've had, though I'm not much of a Punch guy I did enjoy it from the foot to the nub.
