In search of CC sampler

Hey Brothers!!

Had a buddy of mine hook me up with some CC's about 7 years ago, and brought back a couple from my honeymoon to Jamaica a few years ago. My extent of CC's has been pretty varied, but I know there are TONS of great selections out there. I would like to buy a box or a couple of boxes here in the near future, but with the non-existent access to CC's here in our humidors, I'm not willing to shovel out the change to buy a box without knowing or experiencing it for myself.

I've heard that some of the brothers might possibly be able to help with this. Just in search of some direction!

Forgive my ignorance on the subject but being a Canadian BOTL is it illegal to send CC as a gift to the American BOTL. Would be good to know.

Yes. It's not legal for a U.S. citizen to possess no mater what. Unless the new laws changed yet and even then you need to go into Cuba on a special trip and bring only 100.00 back

That was what I gathered from the new laws. I haven't spent nearly enough time reading and researching the subject, though. I should probably do that.

I'm no legal expert, but my understanding is that the embargo prevents trade with Cuba, making obtaining Cuban goods an illegal act. The new provision allows for the acquisition of up to $100 worth of Cuban cigars by the authorized traveler, but for personal use only.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
