inches to MM

just a little info for some of the newer guys. some of the older guys probably know this or are to experienced to care, but:

to figure out a cigars dimensions from inches to MM, just multiply inches by 25.4.........
or divide MM by 25.4 to convert to inches....

gets you really, really close.

found this out at work a few days ago now we have to ship to Hong Kong.

(a piece of Walnut veneer 1850mm long is 72.83 inches) :glassesgr

I just use google by putting in "## inches in mm" or "## mm in inches"

I use a Unit Converter dashboard widget built-in to Mac OS...you should easily be able to do the same on a PC with Yahoo! Widgets. Heck, Windows Vista probably has a gadget to do the same thing.

Sometimes I totally forget that I have that and end up using google most of the time for stuff like money conversion (Ex. "15GBP in USD")

Matt what do you do that you work with walnut veneer?

i used to run a veneer lathe at Wisconsin Veneer and Plywood in Mattoon. now i just drive forklift.
