i read on another board about this one guy who hides his cigar smoking from his mother-in-law,was wondering if any of you are in this situation, for me i dont care who knows and im not ducking behind a tree to smoke a cigar...
I've never had to hide my smoking from anyone. I don't smoke in my in-law's house, but I'll smoke outside there and inside mine when they're over. It never even occurred to me to do otherwise.
Thankfully I do not have those yet... but the longer i am into this hobby the more likely I am to not give a damn....(you like how i can say that now that i am single and dont have somebody over my shoulder saying otherwise..)
Well, my wifes enjoys a good cigar. Her sister who lives close by enjoys smoking cigars. My Dad is a cigar and pipe lover now, and my Mom smokes cigarettes.
I don't need to hide my smoking, I need to hide my 'baccy and humidor! :hysterica
I don't smoke in front of my Grandparents. . . My Grandfather is a baptist preacher (he's against smoking, drinking, and dancing). And my Grandmother's father died of emphyasema (sp?). They know that I smoke and I know they don't like it. . . so out of respect for them I don't flaunt it in front of them. . . kinda don't see it, it doesn't exist.
Out of courtesy, I don't smoke around certain people but my normal household doesn't care. We all try to limit to certain rooms with proper ventilation.
I don't smoke around my inlaws and I don't allow cigarette smoking in my house so my relatives have to go outside. I don't smoke cigars in the house either but I do smoke a pipe in my work room. My air cleaner seems to do a good job with that.
