Am I the only one that chooses cigars by were I will be smoking it. If I am inside at a cigar lounge I will not smoke a big power house. It seems like with all the smoke inside I get knocked out by a power stick. Also they just don't seem to taste as good. But when I am outside I can and will smoke a heavy hitter.

Example:
Cain Maduro
Great smoke outside
Terrible smoke inside.

True. I smoked a new EP Carillo. At a herf you would not pick up on the nuisances of the cigar as they would be lost in the room. I smoked this outside one morning. Someone else smoked it at a herf and thought it had nothing, no flavor at all. I could see why. When I leave a herf, not only do I smell, my nose for the most part no longer can.

similar reasons, but different outcomes. if in a herf, i'm only gonna smoke something strong enough to overcome everything else. then if i'm alone, i'm only gonna smoke something strong enough to enjoy!!!!
light stuff is for mornings only.

I definitely lose some of the taste when indoors and under a cloud of smoke. Luckily I have been forced to smoke outside so now I can buy whatever sticks I want and know I will be able to enjoy them to their fullest.

I've never took that into consideration but now I realize there are differences. I lit up a Boris outside with one other buddy and thought the cigar was amazing. Then I lit one up last night in a lounge and it wasn't the same. I was thinking to myself why. Maybe this is why.

I usually smoke outside. When I used to go to a cigar lounge I would splurge on something nice, meaty, and usually expensive. But I just realized it was a waste. The amount of smoke in the place would over take any chance of fully enjoying the cigar. So I just buy a middle of the road stick and can enjoy the experience hanging out with friends.

And its also better for the wallet.
