Yep, was told last week, as they eliminated 4 senior management chiefs. Still in shock and in the process of updating resume.

Filled out unemployment papers. Lit and smoked several nice 'gars while riding around looking for work. Also managed to commiserate with a fellow 'retired' worker with a 12 year old MacCallen.

All before the holidays! :chat:

Sorry to hear bro, have you talked to an attorney? don't know the details, but sounds like their is an age descrimination question mark hanging here.

Thanks guys! Am in the process of obtaining a labor attorney and see what comes out of it.

Yes, a blessing in disguise...The wife and I came back from our trip from Utah, visited Capitol Reef NP, Bryce Canyon NP and Zion NP. She loves the West, and would like to see NM, AZ, CO, WY, and MO before finally deciding where to retire too. Yes, a blessing in disguise.:skew:

Sorry to hear that they are forcing your hand like this. Sometimes things do work out for the best though!

When one door closes, another one opens. (Or crawl out a window!)

One door closes.. another opens. Same thing happened to me about 4 years ago. Took me awhile to get back to work, but the friendships I developed while networking to find work are still strong...... believe in the value you will add to any situation and people will see it... best of luck and network, network, network.........

Thanks guys! Resume almost complete, sending it to NH, NY, OH, IL, MICH and WA. Wife is somewhat leaning to moving too, so we'll see what happens!

Thanks,

Jeff:cool:
