So who picked up the new iPhone today?

Two arrived via Fedex yesterday, one of them worked, the other one was bricked out of the box. Couldn't even get iTunes to recognize it. After countless trips to AT&T and a trip to Apple they said come in at 10am tomorrow and we'll swap it out, no lines. I came in today and 15 minutes later I was out with a working iPhone. Loving it so far.

Wow, you're lucky man. I waited in line starting at 5:30 w/ no luck. They sold out SOMEHOW 40 minutes after opening... Dumbest shit ever.

Picked mine up this morning. Last one they had. The screen, and the multitasking alone are worth the price of admission!

Wow you guys walked out with them in hand today without having pre-ordered? I thought it was pre-order only?

Anyone of you guys have yellow spotting on the screen or experiencing the antenna-touching problems?

I ordered mine online, will arrive on July 14

Well, it wasn't easy. I was in line at one store at 6:30am, only to be told at 8am that they only had 5 available. I was #8.

The second store I went to, there was one guy in front of me, who changed his mind at the last minute, and I was able to get the last one they had!

It's whatever, the one I want (32GB White) aren't even being made yet. I guess I have to wait until the white one drops anyways. I wish I would have known this prior to wasting my time dismorning.

Stores had both reserve lines and walk-in lines. Many people pre-ordered and had them shipped and those arrived Wednesday, Thursday, and today. The store were absolutely swamped though. Looked like Apple was handling it better than any other launch day though, at least at my store.

My decision about whether to get one or not is easy... I am just shy of the grace period in my current contract on my 3gs so no get unless I want to pay full price... and that ain't happenin. I do however get most of the benefits of IOS4 though. I like it :glassesgr

Mine will be delivered between 07/06 and 07/08...

The Apple store at one of the malls in Atlanta had a line all the way across the parking lot, some people waited in like 12 hours. I want the iPhone, I don't have the patience to wait until the 6th to get it... but I have even less patience for standing in a line for 12 hours!

I really can't wait to get home to get one of these. I love tech stuff, and the fact that I'm in the middle east while this is coming out is killin me! Hopefully by the time I get home, the initial hype is died down and I should have no problem getting one.

I'm waitin a little while. My daughter smashed her screen and is looking to use our family plan upgrade. I have the parts and how-to for the screen repair (THANKS for the links, PLUSH!) and will attempt it after the lines die down. If anything goes awry, she'll go in and swap...
