I was gonna but they aren't bumping the hard drive-up to 64gb so I think I am gonna hold of for now. Freakin apple!!!!! Almost as much of a letdown as the 3gs

Gotta disagree there ... HD Video, the first ever real-time video cell phone, plus all the other typical upgrades you'd expect in a redesign OTHER THAN the memory. I agree they should have doubled the memory like usual, though. I think they really wanted to keep the lower price points.

I'm considering looking into getting one in Japan, but I think they're like a million yen or something, lol.

i'll be waiting in line like i did at the first and second launch...i know there is spec better phones out there these days but i'm so hooked on the simplicity of the iphone i don't care to change.

I'll be pre-ordering mine on the 15th! I'm not a tech junkie that needs the latest and greatest as I've been happily using the first 2g iPhone with no problems but have been waiting for this new iPhone for some time now!

I went to the AT&T store a few weeks ago to get my wife a phone and went in specifically to look at their Droid phone... but a rep steered me to the Palm Pre and I must say I really like that phone too. I definitely preferred it over the AT&T Droid version as it most resembled the ease of the iPhone with their touch screen.

But in the end, I think the iPhone is the most user-friendly and has everything I want and need. Of course they are not perfect, but for me it's the best.

Fortunately for me I live in an area where AT&T works more than any other carrier....never had one issue when I do my travelings in the southwest either...guess I just don't visit the poor signal areas.

Well I was hoping for increased memory but I guess they'll wait on that for next year so they can have some sort of new announcement. I want to make the switch to the iPhone but I'll be sticking with the blackberry.

This is the ONE thing that might keep me from doing everything I can to convince the wife to take my 3GS and let me get the 4. I'm guessing 6months down the road we see a 64GB phone come out. Of course, I'm not sure I'm even eligible for the upgrade so that may just MAKE me sit back and wait. Thankfully I'm also in an area where AT&T works just fine, in fact better than Verizon for me. Also, that new all the way around the outside of the phone antenna may help with some of those issues.

Jobs doesn't know jackshit! :headroll:

Here are the directions to check and see if you are eligible for an early upgrade. If you are 11/4/10...you are definitely eligible.

Yup, the upgrade is legit. I'm not supposed to be eligible until Dec. 14. But I am, so that's good. I can't wait to pick one of these up, I'll be one of the suckers waiting in line for it.
