I was looking through La Aurora blends and found one named Santiago Supreme Selection. Is it a JR house blend? Does anybody have any idea if it is any good? The Toro's are $30 a box. JR also has some good prices on La Aurora "Connecticut" and "Corojo" blends. I'm also interested in their Ecuador Sumatra blend. I just can't find any information on them.

Does anybody have a clue about these?

Whenever I can't find any info on a cigar, I try adding the word "review" to the name of the cigar in my Google search.
This will hopefully get you to a review of the cigar, and maybe some introductory info on the cigar such as production specs, blend, etc.
Good luck!

Sold at JR's and Santa Clara from I can tell and since Santa Clara is the wholesale side of JR's, I think it would be a safe assumption it is an exclusive.

So, I called the JR store near my neck of the woods. The Santiago Supreme Selection is an exclusive, but he hasn't smoked the others. He thinks they are variations on the same filler blend as the original La Aurora. They just changed the wrapper and in some cases the binder.
